Welcome from Kantor Rosebrock
Welcome to Hope Ev. Lutheran Church and School. Hope is a wonderful place to call home, whether you are servant of the church, parishioner, school family, or visitor. Here at Hope Church the weekly celebration of the Divine Service is where we find our center as Christians. Our weekly celebration of the Divine Service focuses our busy and hectic lives on Jesus Christ and the grace and many riches he bestows upon His Church. Music is a major part of this celebration, and it is my joy as the Kantor to cultivate the musical and liturgical life at Hope. At Hope School this same Christ-centered focus defines our philosophy in educating our students as we pursue academic excellence and individual integrity as we prepare our students to live and work in the world.
When you visit Hope on a Sunday morning or Wednesday evening you will most likely find me in the organ loft. Joining me often is our adult choir, the Schola Cantorum; our children's choir, the Kantorei; our Handbell Choir; or various instrumentalists. There are plenty of opportunities for making music at Hope – you are welcome to join us! During the week you will find me at Hope School teaching music or theology, practicing in the loft, teaching youth catechesis, or rehearsing a choir.
