Fourth Grade
Teacher: Mrs. Jeanine Consolino
Let me take this opportunity to welcome you "into my classroom." Fourth grade is an exciting time in this transitional grade. Your child will be leaving primary learning and entering the intermediate level of instruction. Wonderful new avenues of knowledge await them such as being able to recite the capitals of the U.S. and finding their way through a "long" division or multiplication problem. Your child will have an enjoyable time learning these things and much more through interactive learning!
Updated information: The year is moving along swiftly! Fourth graders are learning so much new information! We have begun our mastery of the basic multiplication facts and getting ready to apply them in longer multiplication problems. We are also practicing greater numbers up to hundred millions. The Northeast United States state capitals are learned and soon we will move to the Southeast. English is very exciting working with nouns and verbs. Essay and friendly letter writing was enjoyable and our American Stories unit in Reading is great! We are learning information in fun and innovative ways!
