Welcome from Pastor Asburry
Welcome to Hope Lutheran Church and School! The family of Hope Lutheran Church and School receives its life from our Lord Jesus Christ in His Gospel of forgiveness, life and salvation and in His Sacraments given out in the Divine Service. When you come to Hope you will find a community thriving on God's mercy and forgiveness, anchored in the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions, rejoicing in the historic liturgy of the Western Church, and learning to live as the family of God here in south St. Louis city.
At Hope we celebrate the Divine Service every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, and thus the life and healing of Christ's forgiveness is the center of all that we do. This is also the healing medicine to our busy and hectic lives! We invite you to join us in our Christ-centered liturgical life.
As Christians forgiven by Christ and being restored by His mercies, we also want to raise our children in the faith and teach them to be thinking Christians so that they can navigate their way in the world. Our school (Preschool - 8th Grade) offers excellence in Christ-centered education. We also invite you to come and check out our accredited program and meet our highly qualified and experienced teachers.
As God's family here in south St. Louis city we invite you to join us for worship to experience and grow in God's rich mercies in Christ Jesus, and we welcome you to the life of Christ and His Church with open arms!
