Rev. Randy K. Asburry, Pastor

Pastor AsburryPastor Randy Asburry earned his B.A. in Pre-Seminary studies (magnacum laude) from Concordia College, Portland, OR, in 1986, and receivedhis M.Div. from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, in 1990. In 1992 healso received the M.A. degree in Classics (Greek and Latin) fromWashington University, St. Louis, MO, and in 1998 he received theS.T.M. degree (major: Systematics; minor: Exegetical) from ConcordiaSeminary, St. Louis, MO.

Pastor Asburry was ordained to the Office of the Holy Ministry onDecember 16, 1990, and has served pastorates at Hope Lutheran Church,St. Louis, MO (Associate Pastor; 1990-1994), Immanuel Lutheran Church,Boonville, MO (1994-1998), and the dual parish of Faith LutheranChurch, Gillette, WY, and Hope Lutheran Church, Wright, WY (1999-2001).He has served as Pastor of Hope Lutheran Church, St. Louis, MO, since2001. 

In addition to preaching, conducting the liturgy, and other pastoralresponsibilities, Pastor Asburry teaches religion and Latin at HopeSchool and oversees administrative affairs of the parish and school.

Rev. Stephen M. Rosebrock, Kantor & Assistant Pastor

Kantor RosebrockKantor Stephen Rosebrockearned his B. Mus. Ed. cum laude from Baldwin-Wallace CollegeConservatory of Music, and his M. Div. from Concordia TheologicalSeminary in Fort Wayne. After seminary Kantor Rosebrock attended Saint John’s University where he studied sacred music and liturgical theology.  He was awarded an M.A. in 2006. In 2003 Stephen came to Hope Ev. LutheranChurch and School where he plays and plans most services, conducts thechoirs, and teaches youth catechesis. He also teaches music andtheology at Hope School, all while maintaining a private teachingstudio and fulfilling various other pastoral responsibilities.

Mrs. Deborah Dikeman, Principal

Mrs. Dikeman Mrs. Deborah Dikeman earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska in 1978. After gaining experience in teaching she later earned a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Wyoming in 1997. In 2003 she received her colloquy certification to teach in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod through Concordia University, St. Paul, MN.

Before coming to Hope in 2002, Mrs. Dikeman taught in public schools in McCook, NE (1978-1979), Pine Ridge, SD (1979-1980), Rushville, NE (1987-1989), Kemmerer, WY (1989-1997), Lyman, WY (1997-1999) and again in Kemmerer, WY (1999-2002). She has served at Hope since 2002, first as 7th Grade teacher (2002-2004) and then as Principal since 2004.

In addition to administering Hope Lutheran School and teaching in the classroom, Mrs. Dikeman takes a very active role in the life of the congregation by participating in Bible Class and serving on various boards and committees.
